Meet the Family
I’ve been married to my lover for 15 years, together for 18. Somedays, I can’t believe we made it to year 5!, But, I continue to live with love in my heart and without regrets. I am immensely glad that I get to do life with him.
Boy 1 – he’s 23 years old with a daughter of his own. He’s young with a good head on his shoulders, but much maturing to do. He’s tough on the outside and tries so hard to hide the softness of his heart, but it sneaks out periodically. We welcomed his beautiful daughter during the most trying time of my our lives. She brought some much needed joy. She’s a feisty little red-head who can be sweet as pie.
Boy 2 – He was a beautiful soul who we lost way too soon. He was only 17 when he passed away 4 years ago. This broke my heart, but I’m slowly finding my way back from the depths of hell. We will cherish his memory forever.
Boy 3 – He’s 17, soon to be 18, going on 35. He’s ready to move out, but I am not! He’s a go-with-the-flow person and I worry about him for this reason. He likes to make people laugh and he’s easy to get along with. I have many fears with this one.
Boy 4 – Twin 1! Just turned 17 and acts like it! However, he’s more responsible than most 30 year-olds. Sometimes he’s the ‘picker’ in the family, but he really does have a heart of gold.
Boy 5 – Twin 2! Yes, he’s 17, too! Ha ha! He works hard and plays just as much. Like his twin, sometimes he’s the ‘picker’ of the family. But also like his twin, he has a heart of gold.
They are all good boys with strong work ethic, iffy senses of humor, testosterone aplenty, and lots of love for their momma!

Girl 1 – she’s 12 going on 25. She loves to read and enjoys science. this year she’s starting a new school as a seventh-grader is ecstatic that she gets to be in woodworking shop class. She’s my quieter girl…not shy, just a little quieter.
Girl 2 – lil’ miss is 10 years old and she loves babies – real babies! she’s been like that since she was a baby herself. she’s also very observant, a bit bossy, but very loving and helpful. she is probably my loudest child.
Girl 3 – she’s not the baby of the family, but with her melt-downs, a person would believe that she’s the baby of the family. however, her heart is big and her smile is bright. she loves attention and she loves to give attention.
Girl 4 – now, she’s my baby, the baby of the family. she just turned five so this is her first year in school. she’s sweet and sassy and smart as a whip – all the kiddos are. she doesn’t back down from much and she’s a got giggles aplenty.
Our girls definitely keep us on our toes and our boys think they don’t need our guidance anymore. Our home is full of chaos most of the time due to so many differing personalities and crazy schedules, but we keep it all together as best we can.
