Movies/Series the Hubby and I Have Enjoyed – Cont.

so, my last post spoke of tv shows. now, let’s move on to movies.

my hubby and i have been together for 18 years so we’ve seen a lot of movies. not all have been great, some haven’t even been that good, and some were just downright terrible, but the time with him has always been enjoyable. my hubby and i enjoy many different movie genres, but he mostly likes sci-fi, historical, fantasy. i, on the other hand, mostly enjoy romance, drama, and crime type movies. he hates anything horror/thriller type, but i kind of enjoys those! he won’t watch them with me though and i can’t watch them alone, lol. when it comes to picking a movie, he generally will ask what type i’m interested in watching. guess i’m kinda spoiled, lol.

our first movie together was actually our first date. and if you remember the year it came out then you must be a movie buff! alien vs predator. i don’t think i had seen any of the alien or predator movies prior to seeing this one in the theater, but i really wanted to be with him, so i said i’d go. i didn’t particularly care for it, but i enjoyed his company and i met one of his brothers for the first time. actually, i believe this brother was the first one in my hubby’s family that i met. the others i met later.

so, from way back when at the alien vs predator show, we’ve seen hundreds of movies together. i want list every movie we’ve seen, only the ones in which we agreed we both liked and then still not an extensive list…maybe our top 10 or something. anywho, here goes it…..

  • Twilight Saga – this is another one that I had never been interested in…vampires – not really my thing, but we went to Eclipse in theater and then I just had to watch all of them. over the next day or two, i watched Twilight and New Moon. and then we proceeded to watch all the next ones.
  • Fast and Furious movies – for a long time i lived with a house full of boys and what boys don’t enjoy a good fast car movie. we’ve watched them many times!
  • X-Men Origin: Wolverine (any of the X-Men movies) – we both enjoyed the movie, but i really enjoyed Hugh Jackman. my hubby enjoys all the Marvel movies and we watch just about every new one that comes out, but X-Men is my favorite.
  • Law Abiding Citizen – this one was pretty good, but i love Gerard Butler anyway!
  • American Sniper – what movie based on a true story of an American hero is not considered top-notch?
  • Olympus Has Fallen – again, i love Gerard Butler!
  • Wonder Woman
  • Avengers
  • Star Wars
  • Transformers
  • Lord of the Rings movies

As stated previously, this is not an exhaustive lit (who has time for that?), but the movies are pretty decent and most are family friendly.
