Conversation Starters
My hubby and I have been married for 15 years….not long by some, but more than others. Throughout our years together, life hasn’t been dull.

But sometimes, there has been lull in conversation. Honestly, sometimes, the silence can be deafening, however fleeting the silence may be.
So, to keep things interesting, I try different topics of less serious conversation. Some questions that I’ve broached with my hubby are below:
- If you could have lived in another time period, which would you choose? Why?
- What’s your favorite memory from when we were dating?
- What was the moment that you knew you were in love with me?
- Let’s say you got lucky and won the lottery to a million dollars. What would you do with all that money?
- What is the one favorite memory of us that you like the most?
- What would you name your boat if you had one?
- If you had one superpower, what would it be?
- What’s the wildest thing you have ever done?
- If you are stranded on an island, what three things and which three people would you get along?
- Which car could you drive for the rest of your life?
It’s interesting some of the answers one will receive. It seems no matter how long you’ve been with your spouse or how well you think you know him/her, there are still surprises waiting around the corner.
I love being married and although nothing is 100% certain, I’m 99.99% certain we will be together until one of us leaves this world. Until then, I will take every chance to discover something new about him. Since life is busy and we change over the years, life with him will never be boring.
What is a question you would use as a conversation starter with your spouse?
I can’t wait to see your responses!
See y’all back here soon, friends.
