30 Days of Grateful

Day 9 – Today, I am thankful for:

My Kiddos

Alright, my little boogers all drive me completely insane sometimes. They are feisty, moody, and temperamental, but they are also funny, kind, and full of joy. As any mother knows, a child can make you cry, pull your own hair out, laugh, and bang your head against a wall in frustration while rolling on the floor with laughter all in the space of about 5 minutes. Without these youngsters, who knows where I’d be in my life. I was a young mom, 19, when my first one came along. He was a hard one. The birth was hard and he was colicky. I was young with no clue how to take care of babies. I had only ever baby sat probably a handful of times. After that, I wasn’t sure how many I’d have. Well, I ended up with nine and I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. They’ve taught me so much about life, about myself, and I’m still learning! So grateful for these beautiful children I have been blessed with.
