Winter Storm is on It’s Way

Okay, typically, I am not a fan of cold temperatures and snow! In fact, I mostly dread winter every year.

However, I AM a fan of storms: snow, rain, thunder, whatever. I totally could be a storm chaser, but I won’t be. At this point in my life, I have so much going on with raising the kids, running (per se) the shop, and taking care of the animals at home – none of these things I’m ready or willing to give up at this time. So, storm chasing is OUT.

And I’m okay with that.

Anywho, my thoughts and feelings about winter are this – a good storm is great, but let all snow be GONE within the next couple of days after it hits.

With that said, we are expecting our first big storm of the winter season as we speak – a blizzard warning is in effect. Its moving in tonight to continue through Friday. Weather updates predicting snow of 12″ or more in some areas, blowing snow and wind gusts from 15mph to 50mph over the next 3 days.
