Shattered and Renewed

She looked around her and felt so alone
The Master she knew and loved.......she couldn't see or touch, but never very far
Her heart, although splintered, was still beating
She needed comfort and bowed her head to feel
Loving hands embrace her
The whispers in her ear so soft
Made her feel safe once again.

The insanity of her crazy world began to weigh her down
Sadly, she couldn't see the forest for the trees
What was to come of her?
She knew her love spread abound
But, was it enough?
Was it enough to right her world that floated in chaos all around?
Sadly, the ever-present darkness took hold.

Suspended......arched in the air
She felt her last breath slowly escape her lips
Arms flailing in the wind, 
Heavy, red, wavy locks billowed wildly around her
Narrowly eyeing everything below her
Her body jerked as she drew breath in
She would not, could not let this be her end.
