If you had told me a few years ago that I’d be writing and publishing books, I probably would’ve laughed and shaken my head. Life was already full — family, faith, everyday chaos — and the idea of adding “author” to the list felt impossible. But somewhere between spilled coffee, bedtime stories, and late-night prayers, the dream started to grow roots.

And now, here I am — dreaming and beginning to build a little publishing home called Magnolia Daffodyl Books.

Where It All Began

I’ve always loved stories. I used to make them up for my kids at bedtime — silly ones about farm animals, magical adventures, and everyday lessons tucked inside laughter. One day, I realized these stories weren’t just for my kids; they were meant to be shared. So I took a leap of faith, opened my laptop, and began writing them down.

That first story turned into a children’s book… then another… and another. Before long, God had opened a door I didn’t even know I’d been knocking on.

Why Magnolia Daffodyl Books

The name Magnolia Daffodyl Books came straight from my heart. Magnolias remind me of strength and grace, while daffodils always bring light and hope after a long winter. Together, they represent what I want every story to feel like — beautiful, hopeful, and full of life.

Magnolia Daffodyl Books is more than a name — it’s a promise to write stories that lift spirits, make readers smile, and remind us all of the goodness and wonder in this world.

My Writing Journey So Far

Writing for children has been pure joy. There’s nothing like seeing a child giggle at a funny goat, cheer for a brave bunny, or ask, “Can we read it again?” My stories are filled with adventure, faith, friendship, and a little mischief — because that’s what childhood is made of.

But my heart doesn’t stop there. There are stories for every age stirring in my soul.

Looking Back — and Forward

Writing has changed the way I see the world. It’s taught me patience, creativity, and faith — and reminded me that sometimes, God calls us into things we never expected, just to show us how much beauty He can create through us.

So, here I am, still learning, still growing, still writing. And I’m so grateful you’re here walking this journey with me. Magnolia Daffodyl Books is just getting started, and I can’t wait to share every story, every laugh, every bit of wonder with you.
